Yesterday (during PLAYGIRL Paris Listening Party), I saw people’s reaction to a song called “Room” and it’s the song I always told myself that this one was going to be great. I have a good feeling. It’s a song about being taken advantage of and the moment when you want to take your revenge. It’s kinda the song that started the album. I think it’s the first song I wrote for it, and I thought maybe I should open the album on it but afterwards I told myself it wasn’t the album’s mood so I put it towards the end, but it’s a very emotional and important song. The theme is important, it’s not only about relationships. The hook is like “can’t believe I let you in my room” and it starts with “I used to give a fuck” and it took me 200 times to record that line because I wanted it to be very emotional and powerful and I wasn’t singing it that way. So the first line took me some time.
