“Blues” is the sixth track on Lil Rubbi’s second studio album, My Story. On the track, Rubbi sings about his aloneness and how this unnamed woman, who is mentioned very often in My Story, is constantly leaving him to fall apart.
“Blues” was leaked on October 24, 2022, along with “Bad Blood” and “Stand Alone”. On the leaked version, the song was thought to be an interlude before the closing track, “Guardian Angel”, finished up the album. This was because the song was much shorter than some of the other songs. However, with information from Rubbi himself, we know that “Blues” cannot exactly be considered an interlude. It is simply the second-to-last song on My Story.
