In Greek mythology, Sisyphus or Sisyphos was the founder and king of Ephyra. Hades punished him for cheating death twice by forcing him to roll an immense boulder up a hill only for it to roll down every time it neared the top, repeating this action for eternity.

Darkie uses the story of Sisyphus to explain his issues with his mental health. Using Sisyphus’ story as an analogy, he explains that whenever he knows that he is close to feeling better mentally, that his mental health would decline and that he would never get that boulder to the top of his mountain.
