It follows a story of woman’s infidelity, cheating on her partner who is deep in love with her thinking that he knows her, when in reality she is deeply in love with another man.
Goldie first teased the song on August 1, 2022 via an Instagram post, alongside the song’s title and release date. On August 18, she revealed a pre-save link for the song and posted another short snippet with caption:
