The track was first teased via Ashe’s Instagram story in October 2021, which showed her producing it in the studio with AFTERHRS and John Ryan. However, it wasn’t until July 22nd 2022 when she teased it further by posting a TikTok video of her singing the first verse and chorus, which gained almost 300K views within the first 24 hours.
